A day outing at our beach resort runs from an energetic arrival to a sunset wind-down at our oceanfront lawn. We build tailored packages for groups of 20 to 2,000, and non-resident teams get their own space for the day, which makes it an easy escape from Chennai.

Grande Bay Resort & Spa hosts reunions on the East Coast Road in Mamallapuram, for alumni batches, families and old friends who want a weekend together. Most reunion groups stay two nights and spend one full day sightseeing. The resort gives them space to gather, rooms to rest in and plenty to do on the days they stay in.
A two-night reunion at Grande Bay
Day 1: arrive and catch up. Check in to garden studios, chalets or duplexes arranged around the central pool. Spend the evening at the pool or on the Horizon beachfront, then have dinner on the open lawn with music.
Day 2: explore Mahabalipuram. After a lavish breakfast, set out for the town's UNESCO-listed monuments: the Shore Temple, Pancha Rathas, Arjuna's Penance and Krishna's Butterball. The monuments sit within roughly 1.5 km of each other and are open daily from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Other options on ECR include the Madras Crocodile Bank. Return to the resort for an evening of games, a swim and a long dinner together.
Day 3: slow morning and goodbye. Take a sunrise walk, enjoy a final breakfast and get group photos by the sea before checkout.
